25th

D/D came round to lunch earlier and pointed out that on Wednesday it will be the 25th, a month since Christmas.
We both agreed that we didn"t know where the time had gone.
Do you feel the same ?

Yes thankfully it flew in Apricot, roll on the 25th of February and it’ll be even better again.

I said the same to my son today , all the hype leading upto Christmas day , and here we are a month later .
Soon we be shall be in February, Pancake day to look forward to ..

More like a nice holiday for me, in hot , hot sunshine . That will put this damn leurgy finally to rest.

It is scary Apricot, January is such a miserable month for most that I believe most people just want it over with as quickly as possible!

Hope time slows down a bit now. Funny enough, when I am cooking something that requires me to put the timer on. I look at that dial and the seconds flying through and I can't but help think about how quickly time goes...... really scary if one should dwell on it.

Oh yes please!!

Oh god oh god what a truly dreadful 4 weeks...In no particular order 4 of us have had...

Pneumonia and sepsis and an emergency hospital admission lasting six days
A faint/ fall resulting in a cut lip and buckets of blood
An eye injury from a tree (trees are vicious creatures!)
A DVT and hours in hospital again for scan and medication etc
Bronchitis
A second fall causing soft tissue damage and much pain to knee

By heck it must've kept the neighbours busy, two sets of ambulance and paramedics in two weeks!!

Altogether now...
IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER!

P.S. we did have a lovely birthday celebration in amongst the blood and carnage
