Would you live here

Saw this road sign, after taking a short cut today.

OMG! No I certainly would not If I was the householder I would be spitting feathers at the local council idiots who decided on that signage infringing onto the pavement and onto my property.

Also egyptian goddess & the name of Lord Grantham's lab in downton Abbey. They should call them a rude word instead and take back Isis.

Re: Would you live here

Pity really that the name has such evil connotations these days.

Isis was an Egyptian goddess of magic and love.

Time to worry is if they ever build a mosque down there ..it might attract undesirables.

Re: Would you live here

There was a local ladies dress shop called Isis and it was changed to Juno last summer because of adverse comments on social media ...

A TRADER has spoken for the first time about changing her shop name from Isis after becoming fed up with jokes linking it with the Islamic terror group........

.......She said she had grown weary of comments on social media linking her shop to the Syrian-based terror group.

Not a very wise choice of name I'd have thought, Spitty.
