Re: Old Films

That was very interesting Dobra, Ive been given a couple of Black and White negatives of my brother when he was a toddler they are 56yr old and i was wondering where to take them to get them developed.
Chemist used to do them but do they still ?

Re: Old Films

I've got rolls of film and cassette ones that have never been developed of my kids from the late seventies. I don't know if I can get them developed either. It probably costs s fortune.

Re: Old Films

Google firms like Ilford and other mail order processors. Mr Oy may well have several others up his sleeve. BW film can produce reasonable prints provided storage has been reasonable and no damp. On the other hand colour dyes tend to change over the years, so there is a chance there is distortion of the original colours.

This chap Simon buys old cameras to restore and finds many with film still in. Take a peep at http://found-film.co.uk
