The Diana Tapes

I dont understand how these tapes are to be shown .
They were taken from Paul Burrells Attic by a Police raid yet they don't seem to belong to the Spencer family .
(Earl Spencer doesn't want them shown )
Who do they belong too?

I would have thought they belong to either Charlie or the Princes.

I would have thought so but if that were they case they would surely have stopped them being shown ?

Yes and for different reasons. I can't remember what happened to Burrell in the end but he certainly had a lot of stuff in his house that didn't belong to him.

Thing is it did in a way Diana had given him a lot of stuff .
He had in fact told the Queen of this and that is why the court case against him was dropped at the last minute .

What a terrible breach of trust for anyone to sell these tapes,
they should have been given back to the family or destroyed.
