Aldi meat.

I roasted a joint of beef from Aldi in my slow cooker yesterday.

Beef can be very hit or miss - even in a slow cooker. This was superb. Unbelievably tender and full of flavour.

Highly recommended.

Re: Aldi meat.

I don't think you can fault Aldi for quality and value on everything they sell ... I rarely shop anywhere else.

Try their Teriyaki Beef Steaks, they are delicious. We're having them for dinner tonight.

I agree most of what they sell is top quality.

Re: Aldi meat.

I don't buy a lot of red meat but the ones I have from ALDI have always been fine. Their chicken is fine too and their gammon joints are very good.
