I made 200 today...

...selling unwanted items to Cash Convertors (it's quite a nice store and doesn't smell like CEX does).

A Google Home I simply wasn't using and 2 watches, one of which I got considerably more than I thought I would.

I like to have a clear out but suppose I would have saved more if I hadn't bought the items in the first instance.

Still not feeling great but much better than a couple of days ago I felt I needed to venture out to the shops, only a couple of miles but I feel better for it.

Good for you ... think of it as recycling cash.

Better than just stuffing them to the back of a drawer and not having 200 quid.

Sounds like a good move Ffosse. We’ve taken jewellery items to Cash Converters and been surprised at what they offered. It’s so much quicker and easier than eBay!

Now you can plan how to treat yourself!

As it's cash I'm going to try and live off it for as long as possible without using my debit card - I kind of like that idea as I seldom use cash and my bank balance will be healthier.

Re: I made 200 today...

I sold items on Ebay before and found it a nightmare as a seller with fees, Paypal etc.

It seems to be heavily weighed in favour of the buyer these days.

That maybe so, but, I would miss responding to all the Emails asking if I had a "Buy it Now" price in mind.
