Brain scan

Elsie is going for her last (hopefully) brain scan on Saturday morning, this should if he tumour has still not grown again be her last one.

It's worried us how many times she has been anaesthetised but no other way to do it so it will be a relief to get this last one over with.

Her eye sight hasn't worsened so that's a good sign but it means the little she has is all she will ever regain now.

She loves the vet and is such a good girl never holds a grudge after they do some invasive tests she just licks them and knocks their glasses off with her enthusiastic greetings.

So wish us luck that this is the last.

Re: Brain scan

I sincerely hope all goes well for Elsie and she comes through her scan with flying colours.

Talking about the eyesight....one of my son's dogs, a lurcher, has been almost blind from birth, but she copes extremely well, especially in familiar places. Maddie, the dog, is never let off the lead though when out, better to be safe than sorry, as they say.

Re: Brain scan

If we try to let Elsie off lead she hugs our legs she's not confident without someone on the end of the lead at all.

Elsie copes pretty well we've been decorating and that's upset her a bit as things aren't where she's used to them being.

Re: Brain scan

I wish you and her all the best. Nothing wrong with a bit of steak as a treat for her.
