Did you leave your heart somewhere?

We all know that Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco but did you leave yours somewhere? Another country perhaps or with someone who is no longer with you?

I left mine, well part of it, to my best friend Jenny. She died of cancer in 1999 after a three year battle with the horrid disease. We did a lot together, evening classes, bird watching, on day trips & coach trips, nights out & just chilled at one another's houses. She was brilliant fun & had a wicked sense of humour. I still miss her.

I left my heart in the North East of Scotland and have always longed to return to my adopted 'home', but circumstances and now age prevent that ever happening.

Mine broke and I left part of it when our lovely Tasha died. I think we all lost a big part of us that day.

Another bit goes with Jordan each time he returns to the army.

I left my heart in Sardinia, back in 1971. Now I am afraid to go back in case it has changed a lot.

South Africa has a big chunk of mine but I don't think I'd like to go back now.

Re: Did you leave your heart somewhere?

I used to frequent a dance hall owned by a huge obese bloke by the name of Samuel. I met, and fell for a girl there but she rejected me.

I left my heart..... in Fat Sam's Disco....

I'll get me coat.
