George Alagiah

Still positive after devastating news his bowel cancer has returned. The BBC newsreader, has said that it is "tough dealing with the disappointment, always knew cancer could come back."

Re: George Alagiah

Poor man, he was such an inspiration for me, it being two years tomorrow since my second bowel cancer op, and I am currently undergoing scans and tests to check the present situation. It will be at least two more weeks before I have the results.

George is my favourite newsreader and my thoughts are with him and his family. What a blow for them.
