Single since 2004 and since then have had two long term relationships.

I'm a great listener, unpretentious, honest, agnostic, empathetic, sympathetic and a bit quirky. I enjoy attempting to keep fit (but no longer obsessively so): jogging, indoor rowing and walking (often with camcorder and binoculars at hand) . I love being by the coast and I'd love to live near the sea again. I love those huge cloudy skies we get all of the time in the UK. All the best things in life really are free.

Born in Scotland and I have lived in England since 1985.

I attended RC Boarding School in Scotland from the ages 11-17 and had "independence" thrust upon me at an early age. I could tell a few tales to tell about that place. I am agnostic.

I am a Maths student and will get my Degree in September 2014. It is very hard stressful work. I now have my Maths Diploma. I hope to do private one-to-one tuition with adults.

I like feminine and intelligent women with a sense of humour and who don't take everything (including herself) too seriously. Someone with opinions and an ability to express them in an assertive non-aggressive manner. The modern mature lady who has taken care of herself appeals to me. Wrinkles are inconsequential to me, merely signs of an interesting life lived! I have been seeking a serious committed relationship but would consider a friend I could rely on and a lover. We have to go for what "happiness" we can find before we run out of time. Willing to relocate.

Relationships should revolve around effective and honest communication and mutual respect. It is essential that there is also an intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical connection. In a relationship I like the physical aspect to be focused on the woman with her needs and desires being fulfilled (in a relationship I have a bit of a cunnilingus fetish). I am confident in my ability to please her.
