About me
In 1990 I moved to The Netherlands with my husband, my three children and the family dog. People kept asking about how I ended up in a tiny village in Friesland and that gave me the idea for a book, but looking after three children and coping with life in a foreign country meant I didn’t have time to write. It was only when when my employer went bust that I took the opportunity and used the time unemployment gave me to write my first book called, Windmills and Tulips. Since then I've written a second book called My Dutch diary and I'm busy working on the third which is a tribute to all the dogs in my life.
I have always considered my dogs as my best and most trusted friends.
I love photography but I dont do the technical stuff, I just snap away and hope for the best. I like surprises!
My other passion is cooking ( and eating) and I have cupboard full of jams , chutneys and pickles to show for it!
My Interests
Reading , cooking , photography (not fancy stuff just snaps of things I like), my dog.
Writing, the edges are now blurred, is this a hobby or a profession? ( I do get paid even if it is only pennies)
