About me
Born and bred in Southend on Sea from a Southend Father and a Mother from Middlesbrough. Spent many holidays in Middlesbrough as a lad.
Finished my schooling at Westcliff Hgh School for boys(1951 to 1956).
Married first wife in 1957. Joined army in 1957 and stayed in for 22 years. We had 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls all still vertical. Worked second part of working life for STC later becoming Nortel Networks for another 22 years before retiring early to be with first wife more often when she developed cancer. She died in 2002, but I married again in 2004 and I am now settled down with my new wife( hardly new- almost 11 years) but you know what I mean! I presently have 3 sons, 3 daughters, 2 stepsons, 11 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren!
