I love my husband, sons, and our 3 grandsons. Guess you could say I'm the Queen bee in our hive! I love being a grandmother and how much our grandsons love me, almost as much as I love them. They think I "walk on water" and would rather spend time with me than anyone in their world. Of course they are little guys (8, 6, 2) and haven't discovered girls yet! I've tried to teach them my motto, which is: A little danger is a good thing! My love of animals and nature I've shared with them, teaching them to respect both. I consider myself Mother Nature on our property (2 heavily wooded acres of land). Fred and I share our home with Blondie, our aging (LOL Who isn't aging??) Old English sheep dog and our beautiful, domesticated, Ferrell cat, Smokey The Bear. I am very creative, love decorating our house for various holidays, and LOVE BEING SILLY AND OFF THE WALL. I am the storyteller in the family and I must be funny because I definitely make people laugh. I LOVE DEEPLY and LIVE LIFE as fully as I can.

My Interests

Pets, nature, birds, grandsons, travel, games on Big Fish, learning something new, figuring out HOW or WHY. I love the wildlife on our property, but especially love the little Eastern Screech owls that attempt to raise their broods in our owl bird house. Snakes climb the tree unfortunately and have eaten the baby owls on 3 different years. We've only seen 2 baby owls make it and fly away. I would love to find a way to keep the snakes OUT of the birdhouse! Any suggestions?
