I had a westie who on holiday rolled in Horse manure and he and joe had to stand in the river to try to get it off as he wasnt going in the car covered in that. he was stained all week and people kept smiling and saying "We know where you have been".Re: Oh Dear....You have to Smile.
What a smashing picture Roxy, really made me smile.. Our old black lab used to love to roll in anything unsavoury, and the fresher the better, but we used to bathe him on the yard with the hose pipe, certainly couldn't have got him into the tub....Re: Oh Dear....You have to Smile.
Awww, what a lovable face! My dad had a hound/shepherd cross who once rolled in something that smelled like long-dead fish. Hosed her down outside, lathered, rinsed and repeated til she was fit to come indoors. (Someone said dogs do it to disguise their scent while hunting. She looks so sorry for herself, but you washed her parfume off mum,!!! & a lady like's her Parfume !!lol i have to watch all mine when we're out, the smellier there find, the better they like it, Fox dung is there Chennel No 5 i am sure !! been there many times , & i am sure i will be again, they do make us laugh dont they, great piccy, thanx for the share
