Have had a rotten cold for the last few days .
Wanted hot to drink but didn"t fancy tea or coffee.
Thought to myself , I know I"ll have what Mr A has every evening while he is watching "Pointless".
Just great , has really hit the spot.
Ooh Apricot, I haven't had a cup of Oxo for donkeys years, or a cup of Bovril either now I come to think of it. Mind it don't put hairs on your chest.
Hope you feel a bit better soon.

I sometimes have a hot Oxo and find them quite tasty.
The stream helps to clear your nose, when inhaled whilst drinking... so they are a bit medicinal too!

Don't exagerate Twink, it is a cup of water, not a stream full.
I use oxo cubes to make gravy, but haven't had a mug of oxo for many years. Personally if I have 'flu/cold/sniffles I much prefer honey & lemon drinks and round it off with a tot of Brandy!!!
Used to cup of hot Bovril at the match years ago, very warming when having to watch my team give me aches and pains on a cold Winters day.
Can't see the fun standing round at the edge of a field getting, cold, wet and hungry, watching 22 men kick a ball around the field. Never been my idea of fun.
