Those places truly are breathtaking. I've come across Siem Reap on the net before - what a stunning place! The intricacy of the carvings on the buildings and statuary is incredible, and must have taken many people many years to complete. And OMG, the temple ruins with the tree roots growing through and around the buildings. What I wouldn't give to be able to visit there.

I like wandering virtually through the caves & cave paintings in Lascaux in France, those are amazing.

I once jogged up the steep hill to the Castle Jorge.....Only to find that I had left my wallet in my other trousers. I did find a good vantage point though to take photos of the harbour and this impressive pile....
