Yes I have and my OH and daughter think I am mad. (But I already know that.)
Yesterday I came home from my afternoon dog walk, and I felt in my pocket something small and round. I first thought it was a cashue nut that I had some in a bag in that pocket a few day's earlier.
But no, it was a small snail. How it got there I know not. It was deep in its shell, and the women said it was dead. I did not think so.
I felt sorry for it as it obviously had no home, only its shell. So I decided to adopt it.
I have put it in a plastic pot with some lettuce. It has emerged from its shell and seems to be eating the lettuce.
Not yet got a name for it.

Awwww that's lovely.
You should probably vary it's diet ... I believe lettuce can have a soporific effect, so watch out for snaily yawning and becoming lethargic.
