New Polish President
Andrzej Duda, an unknown MEP has been elected president of the Republic. He was thought to be on the plane that killed Lec Kaczinski, but didn't board. He wants to make Poland more independent, but the Polish government is wrestling with the Ukraine question, and allowing foreign troops to train.
Putin is not to be trusted of course, and don't forget that the Poles remember the 1920 war against the Russians, in addition to post '45 occupation. So what has all this got to do with uis sitting comfortably sipping tea or coffee and admiring the weather?
Security, Cold War 2, gas supplies, weak armed forces, spying and infiltration.
Should we sit on our hands, or prepare?
