DIY filling repairs

How annoying ....I was due to have a crown fitted on one of my front teeth as the filling keeps falling out ...the dentist secured it back 2 weeks ago and made a appointment to start the treatment in 2 weeks time ...now they have changed the appointment to 5 weeks time and guess what the filling has become very lose again if it falls out completely i will have unsightly hole in my smile and whistle when I talk and as I have a job interview tomorrow something had to be done ....I have decided to try a a kit from boots which will secure lose fillings etc it was expensive but so far it seems to be working , I forced a small amount of the compound between the tooth and the filling then pushed it back .....just hoping it dont fall out whilst in the interview ......
PS It looks like those Blood pressure tablets were responsible for my cough ...it has improved considerably over the last 2 days ...

Hi Steve - yes I used the same product a few years back, if you have done the procedure correctly, it wont budge till you see the dentist. That's how it was for me.......
Pleased you are feeling better cough wise .......

I hope it does last the filling hasn't fell right out yet but it moves freely as it is jammed between 2 teeth ..I had to push the compound in the gap with a toothpick then push the filling back ...at least I have enough so I can refit it again if need be
