How do you arrange your bookmarks?

For the longest time I've had 2 sets of bookmarks located on the left and right sides of my taskbar. One is called "Imported from Firefox" from years ago when I used to use that browser - I keep one set of bookmarks there, occasionally adding to or deleting them.

The other is simply called "Other Bookmarks" again, I sometimes add to or delete them. And that's pretty much it.

Do you have more elaborate systems or some even simpler? When I start my MacBook and go to the first page, some 9 boxes appear which seem to be my most visited sites.

I start rearranging every so often in alphabetical order but it does not last....then it is as Art says...as they come.

I periodically delete old ones.

Alphabetically within categories.

I find that with time I remember where all my bookmarks are on their respective lists.

Ffosse, since you posted this I started counting how many bookmarks I had.

and I had to give up counting after 100. Must delete some.

I find a few that only interested me for a day or so but hung around - I'm going to have a proper clean out tomorrow.

Same here, Muddy. And I haven't even bothered to.
I don't know what they are, how they work or why my life would be improved by them. Same goes for Bluetooth.
