A Russian Destroyer has fired on a Turkish fishing vessel that was allegedly on a collision course with the Destroyer in the Aegean Sea.

Hi

This is all down to Erdogan, the Turkish President.

He is a dangerous idiot and Merkel wants to give him money.

Time we booted Turkey out of NATO.

If Erdogan wants to play silly idiots with the big boys, let him.

He should do so on his own however, and not drag the rest of NATO into a war which we do not need, do not want and should not be any part of.

Hi

Putin is in Syria at the express invite of the Syrian Government.

Russia is there legally, everybody else is not, including us.

Cameron would have done much better to abandon regime change, tell Assad we are only after ISIS and will leave as soon as he regains control of the areas occupied by ISIS

The Syrian Army, aided by the Russians is now making major gains and establihing ceasefires with the rebels in some areas.

The sooner we bring this disaster of a war to an end the better for all those Syrian civilians who are in the middle of it.

Putin has repeatedly said that he is willing for Assad to go when the war is ended.

That, to me, would be the most sensible thing to do.

Erdogan is been nothing short of hypocritical though.

Only yesterday there was a demonstration in Iraq against Turkish troops in Iraq ... an invasion of sovereignty ... where they were beating caricatures of Erdogan with slippers.
The Iraqis want his troops OUT .. and they ain't going.

It said on the news that the Russian Ship fired warning shots on a 'fishing vessel' which failed to acknowledged radio contact. Far better for Russia to do that than to mow them down.
