Bed Time
Taken last night. For once ChoCho didn't burrow under her blanket, Muffin as usual upside down. Poor little Muffin is going for an operation on the 15th of this month, he has a broken cruciate ligament in his right back leg and is mostly hopping around on 3 legs. Hopefully the operation will be a success and he'll back back to 4 legs soon after.

Isn't it just Annie ! My two are very experienced relaxers, both frequently lie on their backs to sleep. I was once told that if a dog lies on its back to sleep exposing it's delicate parts, then it feels safe and unthreatened. I really don't know if this is true but I can understand if it is.
I hope all goes well for his op on the 15th and that he'll be bouncing around again, free of pain, soon...

Thank you marpaul, yes ChoCho is okay again. We are not really sure what her problem was but presume she had strained a muscle or something similar. Both dogs obviously react very differently to pain, ChoCho goes into a real decline, little Muffin is determined to carry on though he is obviously in pain, poor little thing he can barely walk at times, but he has a little rest and off he goes again. I am dreading him going for his operation and I just hope it is successful.|
