Re: does the end justify the means.
No Galty, I do not think their means were justified - they didn't put a stop to the animal testing did they? so they did not have a successful outcome to their campaign of hatred, violence, blackmail and evil, vicious behaviour. Perhaps the subject of animal testing rights, wrongs, etc. is a subject for a debate.Re: does the end justify the means.
Jail them for a short term would be my view and then spend the money that it would cost to keep them in longer on a mix of public education and the concept of peaceful campaigning.Re: does the end justify the means.
You get a slap on the wrist for running someone over and killing them. You might get a few months for manslaughter. A few years for murder...Re: does the end justify the means.
I have nothing but opprobrium for militant animal rights activists!Re: does the end justify the means.
I haven't followed that case, but as an animal lover I do get very very very angry about the way animals are treated. They are 'tortured' - and while medicine is one side and some might argue for a greater good, it's for things like cosmetics that really gets to me!Re: does the end justify the means.
