Re: Weed guide

Thanks for that Muddy, I have saved the page in my favourites for when they all return to my garden later in the year.

Re: Weed guide

That's interesting Muddy.
Many years ago I did an Agricultural course, and part of the course was learning weed identification, though I have forgotten a lot of it now I fear.
Many people only recognise weeds when they are adult and flowering, it is a lot harder to identify small seedling weeds and that can make it so easy to destroy the wrong plant.

They are not weeds, they are or were wild flowers. My garden has a lot of those.
How can someone not like Bluebells in their garden.
Brambles are the worst though, nasty scratchy things that attack humans who try to remove them.

Re: Weed guide

There is no such thing as a weed. They are all plants, but they are called weeds because you don't want them in your garden.
Bind weed is one plant that I don't want in my garden, but it's a continuous battle that I have with it.
How dare it grow near my rhubarb.
