The EU says no Renegotiation
Hi
Theresa May was savaged yesterday at the EU Summit.
She made an impassioned plea for help and changes to the backstop.
The answer was no and the reason given was that she did bring any new proposals to break the deadlock so there was nothing to discuss.
She was told it is the UK which is leaving so up to you to put some concrete proposals on the table, which she had not done.
It was Ireland which vetoed any changes.
Back to square one.
It is my view that we really do need now to go flat out to prepare for no deal, which, unfortunately, is now looking more and more likely.
