Yeah I know it's only 1 a.m. as I post but I can't sleep (night off work tonight)...

Morning all!
No idea about the weather, it's still pitch black.
Doctor's appointment first thing (hence my night off work) to see about my ongoing coughing problems. Maybe the gym later.

Mild and dry enough to finish some outside painting today, at least that is the plan.

Morning all, a real storm here at the moment with high winds and heavy rain, but at least we won't need to defrost the car first thing...

Not a full schedule for me today, just tinkering with the lawn mower which has got a flat tyre amongst other things, but I don't mind being in the workshop when it's mild out.

Good morning all.

Good luck at the Doctors Floydy, let me know what he says, as I've been coughing most of my life, they first said it was Asthma, then decided it was COPD, but even with Inhalers I still cough all the time.

Its pouring of rain here, off at 7.30am to do my weekly shopping.

Who stole all my snow? Last night it was there - this morning it has vanished!

Not a lot planned for today - though the laundry goblins are lurking in the kitchen.

Morning all.

It was raining when I got up so some of the snow has gone, the roads are clear, but the pavements are still frozen solid and virtually impassable. Even the paths round the lake are too treacherous to walk on.

Kitchen painting today, luckily I don't have to go anywhere.

Floydy and Susie...if you have a persistent cough that doesn't respond to normal chest/lung treatments it's often a stomach acid problem. Stomach acid aggravates the same nerve as a chest issue does, resulting in a cough.

Good morning all it rained during the night and washed all the snow away thank goodness - it’s now a ‘balmy’ 8 degrees

The plumber is coming today, keeping fingers crossed he can sort our heating out.

Floydy, hope all goes well at the docs and he/she can sort that cough out.

Much milder today...if that's the end of the snow I think we have got off lightly this winter....still a bit icy though so take care

Starting to paint my main living area today....I live in a barn conversion so in parts the ceiling goes up very high so it's not as simple as it sounds....there is quite a bit of natural stone though so not too massive a job....just starting the white ceilings today.
