I rarely eat chips these days and no longer make them but I used to cook them twice years ago when I had a chip pan, once at a low heat to cook the potatoes and for a second time at a higher heat to produce a crisp outside.Re: Triple Fried Chips.

Hi Pauline, Hi everyone. I very rarely have chips, but if having a family get together in the garden on a rare sunny day, I like to be well prepared with my three-times cooked chips as the family love them. I usually peel and chip 2 bags of red potatoes and boil them in water in batches for for about 20 minutes until they are soft.(large family). Once all the batches have been boiled and dried with kitchen paper. time for the next stage.Thread Tools | |
