Almonds
Anyone tried this? We've been doing it for years, absolutely delish.
1. Go to Holland & Barrett, get big bag of almonds, shelled but in their brown skin.
2. Place some in bowl, add boiling water, leave for 5 min, drain, squeeze white nut out of skin. If not skinning easily, return to bowl, add more boiling water.
3. Place, slightly soft & sticky nuts into dry frying pan, warm on a low heat for 8-10 mins, tossing every 20-30 secs.
4. Allow to cool.
5. Enjoy.
