Check out The Black Book of Poland and also The Polish White Book for starters. There's lots more though much is in Polish attest deal has been translated into English. There's quite a lot in Yiddish but I won't even bother with pointing YOUS to any. The Brits were well aware by 1942.
As for guarded skies, not equally distributed. Some areas thick as flies on a dog, others scarcely anything at all. Thousands of miles? Err, no. Destroying the death factories - great! But disrupting the associated rail network that led to them or just one of the big ones would have been something but nothing?
That is inexcusable and disgusting.
It would seem there is a very great deal about a great many things that yous are learning though probably not believing.
