Re: Over 50s Club Wales Part 2
Just had a spit and spot of rain but sum out now. We are going to attempt a *journey* tomorrow. Michael wants to visit his Mum's grave in Canford, Bristol, so we are going to attempt the journey. It's going to be dodgy but you have to try. Fingers crossed! We have to do it before our care company finishes on Sunday, while we have a carer we know.Re: Over 50s Club Wales Part 2
Good luck for tomorrow Celyn and Michael, hope all goes well, I'm sure it willRe: Over 50s Club Wales Part 2
Daughter took Michael's vehicle to the garage today to check tyres before journey. The chap did it, and checked the oil and water, and she just said it is a pity it's too big to go through the car wash. He said it will, definately. We have had bigger vehicles than that through. She rang me to see if it was OK, as the chap said he would take it through for her. I said if he's sure it will go through.Re: Over 50s Club Wales Part 2
Oh for F's sake Celyn, whatever next?! So devastated to hear about the vehicle. That's my biggest dread, that something goes wrong with Rob's truck. I always keep enough fuel in it to get to Hereford, 'cos I feel if the worst comes to the worst I can bung him in that to get him to A&E. (The ambulance response times in this part of the world are diabolical.) Does this mean you won't be able to go on your expedition?Re: Over 50s Club Wales Part 2
Everything functioning for our expedition. Just a lot of bruises on the vehicle to be sorted. They are coming on Friday to assess. Ambulance service disbolical here too. Last time I called them my daughter got here quicker with a 30 min. drive , and had to get out of bed and dress first!Re: Over 50s Club Wales Part 2
Glad to hear you can still use the vehicle Celyn, good luck for your journey.Thread Tools | |
