I am amazed this has run to 12 pages when there is far less smut or aggro here than on any comparable site I've seen in the last fifteen years online.

Rightly or wrongly, you'll often find that the threads in which there is "robust debate" very often attract the most interest.

Just look at the silly "reality" TV shows.
Serial whingers may have a field day with the "Report" function but I'm sure the unfortunate Mods can separate the wheat from the chaff.
