I did wonder at the start if I was taking on a bit more than I should , but if you don't try you don't know.
It always amazes me what you learn as a 5 yr apprentice with other trades as well. Choosing wood - making templates first - cutting -fixing. Painting was down to Sue.
The last bit by the door was a nightmare to cut with the brick wall corners and different wood width between door and window frame. Considered doing some blocking but even that wouldn't work because of the way it would have to be fixed in.
also although the last plank was 10 inches wide, each side had a knot missing making the plank 6 and a half inches wide. Luckily that was the exact width I needed for the widow half so got away with it "just"
