We (or rather I) tend to go a bit overboard with the children at Easter. I always do an Easter egg hunt (in the garden if weather OK) and we have all sorts of little surprises hidden all over the place. I enjoy it and it won't last much longer as they are growing up fast.
I took the oldest three grandchildren (2 aged 7 one 6) on an egg hunt to a local castle last year ,what a swizz
My son paid a small fortune to enter then instead of hunting easter eggs we were given a rough map of the grounds and had to find a number of trees with a white rabbit in them then name each tree. Then the maps and tree names had to be posted off and a winner was 'drawn'.
We walked around for hours and could find half the rabbits so went home cross and eggless
