Surprise..
The first one was on Thursday evening when my son arrived..
OH had been saying to the neighbours (who knew) how sad it was that our son wouldnt be able to come over for his birthday.
This morning (we are having the party today) the kids got up early and while OH and I were out with the dog they decorated the house and drive with flags and balloons and we had his gifts piled up on the table for him..
He loved the personalised mug and the miniture harley but the one that bought a tear to his eye?
A framed set of old tea cards , the thunderbirds set rescued from the bin when family were clearing out after his sister died in May. Our son and daughter framed the cards and signed it with love from his sister...
This afternoon there will be a big cake in the shape of a guinness glas and lots of nibbles and beer in the garden with family neighbours , friends etc.
