Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

Thanks Jem, for mooting reserving post 10,000 for me.

I am flattered but must decline this honour.

I can't say how well I'll be on the day, and I don't want to hold things up.

I might, perish the thought, be missing after flouncing out of SCRIBBLES. after an imagined slight'

I might have had early onset dementia.

Lets see what happens

thanks

I think each and every poster on this thread brings something special. I am not after compliments. Just stating that it is a special thread.

Don't be silly Pugsy.

Baby cried the day the circus came to town
'cause she didn't want parades just passin' by her
So she painted on a smile and took up with some clown
While she danced without a net upon the wire
I know a lot about 'er 'cause, you see
Baby is an awful lot like me

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside, learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost had it all

Baby saw that when they pulled that big top down
They left behind her dreams among the litter
The different kind of love she thought she'd found
There was nothin' left but sawdust and some glitter
But baby can't be broken 'cause you see
She had the finest teacher-that was me-I told 'er

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost had it all

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost made it

Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall, remember you almost had it all

I am spoken for, but I hold Miss Sweetie Pie in the highest regard. I haven't the faintest idea how she manages to spend so much time in here when she so obviously has a very full life in the REAL world.

REmember though,
if you want any thing done, ask a busy woman to do it.

Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

Whatever you say RJ, we’ll let the Hare sit on that one for a while and see how you feel when the time comes.

Very nice poem Sweetie, sure we all love you, and I noticed the lads have become very polite to each other since you dropped in, that’s all that was needed, the gentle touch, works wonders.

Looking back at those huge Kangaroos fighting reminded me of something. When I was a wee lad and learning to spell I thought they were called Dangeroos, I first saw them in Dublin Zoo and over the wire netting was a sign saying “These Animals are Dangerous”
English is a devil of a language to learn if your not born to it, so a man from China was telling me.
