Flood Alerts

For anyone interested, here's a Floor Alert warning for different parts of the country.
It looks pretty grim for some.

Re: Flood Alerts

I believe this area is likely to still have rain till about Friday, so we're not done with it yet!

Re: Flood Alerts

After heavy rain the small River Welland that runs through the town usually swells up and runs much faster.
The dogs like to paddle in the normal low water but its too high at the moment.

I know this area has had flooding in the past but theres nothing on the map for us at the moment.

Re: Flood Alerts

Hi

The local small rivers have flood alerts, the River Severn is really rising now, but will be another 36 hours before peak.

I have standing water at the front and my rear lawn is partially under water.

The rain is very heavy now., literally bouncing off the patio.

The strange thing is I have still had to go out and water the polytunnel.
