Re: Zaras money for old rope

Why on earth everyone compares politicians to the royal family is beyond me .
Politicians do actually have to do something - right or wrong they have to have something about them !
The RF are in win win situation they don’t have to canvas for votes they just are !
Divine right is alive and well .

Re: Zaras money for old rope

It’s also a fact that the Queen does not need to pay inheritance tax on her private fortune .
As did that old parasite the queen mother who passed down all her vast fortune to the queen and her grandchildren without paying a penny in IT .
Now how is it that the descendants of every common Joe who has a estate worth over £325 will have to hand over 40 percent of anything above that to the tax man ?
But not the RF they are exempt .
It’s grossly unfair .

How would you feel Floydy if I said " well Floydy is supposed to work nights, but how can he be working if he spends a lot of time on an over 50's forum?"

I am not criticizing you, because I think that you do work hard, but how do any of us know what these royals are doing to get these payments, maybe they earn because they have the right knowledge?
Aren't we just displaying jealousy because they earn more than we do?
Twink, you are so wrong about me. You were wrong to compare my life as a proud working class person with the greedy royals. You are blinkered.
I go on here in my downtime at night to take my mind off personal problems but if you like I will stop posting altogether and that will include during the day too. I will have a real life back soon hopefully and that will mean giving up pastimes like posting meaninless texts to those on here who have don't go anyplace.
I can't wait in fact.

Getting rid of the royals never did Russia or France any good has it, and it could be argued that we could end up with a Trump like president. All it does is passes the weath onto some other waster....Better the devil you know!

Long live the Queen......

Oh hold on, in the case of Russia getting rid of the Tszar and his family was the first and essential step along the admittedly hard path that had to pass through the USSR and led to Russia today. The French Revolution? Same there. Today Britain is STILL being held back by the British aristocracy.

The alternative to a monarchy such as Britain has is not communism or socialism, it is a republic.

No need to go to those lengths Arty, We just need to have
a ( dont laugh), referendem, if the result is against the
Monarchy, we just need to stop all state funding that goes
to the monarchy, we can let them keep what they allready
have, monoeywise, but if they are unwilling to pay for the
upkeep of any property or estates then the state should take
them over to use for the benefit of the state!
If they cant exist on what they allready have then imo they
dont deserve to have it?
