What motivates you these days?

Money of course but I only really need a certain amount to get by.
Pride. Thats the big one. Independance. Not owing anyone anything .A favour or money.

My grandchildren motivate me and if they think I am not motivated enough they shout in my ear.

Seriously - maintaining independence is a huge motivator for me these days - use it or lose it as they say. Same goes for the old grey matter.

My son motivates me. He's only 23 but he is an "old soul". Wise beyond his years. He has the kind of intellect that makes you feel hungry to learn more rather than making you feel inadequate. I cannot describe the intensity of the love I have for him. He motivates and inspires me. He is my hero.
