Re: Have You Ever Found A Squirrel In Your Water?
The laboratory where I worked at near Hertford is based at an old Palladian mansion with an open air swimming pool in the grounds for the staff to use. One morning, one of the security staff found a drowned badger in it - yeuk!Re: Have You Ever Found A Squirrel In Your Water?

Sadly a dead hedgehog, in our greenhouse, years ago at my Parents house, before I left home. There was a sunken tank in the greenhouse, just by the door & it was full of water, someone left the door open & the hedgehog must have gone in for a drink & fell in & drowned. We made sure that the door was shut every time we went in it after that.Re: Have You Ever Found A Squirrel In Your Water?
The water in out water butt is stagnant and like yours a bit wiffy. Hopwever it still is the best, rain water that is, for the plants and also at air temperature. Water from the house via a hose is not a good idea being cold and going straight onto plants.Re: Have You Ever Found A Squirrel In Your Water?
I had a very dear elderly neighbour friend when I lived at another address. One day she came across and said she'd found a dead squirrel in her water butt and would I remove it for her as she couldn't bear to do it.
