Good Morning Friday

Good Morning everyone, a busy day for me, have a phone engineer coming sometime between 8am and 1pm as have no landline yet broadband is working not sure how that works, evidently there is a fault where it comes into the house. Also have my weekly Tesco delivery between 9 and 10am.

Re: Good Morning Friday

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to Frankie and Summer and to all who follow.

A fresh start with blue skies. A sunny morning but with an increasing chance of cloud then thunderstorms, locally very heavy with possible hail and gusty winds. Very hot and humid is the forecast. Maximum temperature 35ºC (almost one-third higher than yesterday’s).

By the sound of that weather forecast I will spend the day either trying to find a cool spot or
keeping dry, probably neither of those in the garden though!

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

Re: Good Morning Friday

Good morning all, beautiful start here with clear sky, light winds and quite warm already, but going to be too hot for me later methinks.

Not a big day planned, just a few leaflets to deliver locally this morning, then a quiet afternoon keeping cool somewhere will be the main agenda for the rest of the day.

Have a good day everyone

Re: Good Morning Friday

Good morning everyone, Another lovely day but I must stay indoors as I am still isolating and cannot take any risks. I have been out in my car a couple of times but that gets too hot in the sun. Take care everyone, stay safe and well. God bless.

Good morning everybody.

Today Tony & I are exploring the Derbyshire Dales - small villages we haven't been to for a long time.

I'm hoping it will nudge his memory.

Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Friday

Good morning all it’s a scorcher here already, 24°C outdoors and showing 27°C indoors.

Hoping to continue with the decorating for a while but somehow I don’t think I will be able to manage much today.

Enjoy your day everyone

Re: Good Morning Friday

A belated good morning everyone I got well and truly diverted last night and this morning persuading my lovely 82 year old brother not to visit when he comes down here from Derbyshire to buy plumbs . I want him to go there and back in the day rather than risk infection staying overnight.

My son wants me to find a holiday cottage for next year in the hope it will be safe to go so I have been looking . It's amazing how many are booked already...
