I believe Moyra or Moira is the Irish equivilant to Mary not sure on that and I am not sure apart from Mother whether Mary has any other meaning. My second name is Bridget which means strength so that is good enough for me.

I did ask my husband if he remembered what he used to call me, but he didn't remember, I didn't remind him.

My husband scared of me, now that is really funny! I have never known my husband scared of anything, and certainly not me. No he doesn't remember, he doesn't always remember our daughters' names either, and has to resort to eldest, middle and baby daughter.
