Hi EJ you must know London pretty well, what is you favourite part and landmark .

When we were courting, I taught her to drive. On the way to having her test, a dust cart hit us. She still carried on and passed first time.
I took her to see one of my cab friends weekend camping and caravaning club site days. She thought it was great. By The following week end we had one of those Mirror trailer tents.
This was followed by a few years later a touring caravan. Then came a static van in St Oysth, that was followed by the holiday chalet which we had for 22 years and had to be sold last year, as it was not possible for the wifes disability to use it anymore.
She also joined me in my metal detecting hobby.
Having and bringing up our children.
She was not interested in my flying, and even got me to stop. (Grassed me up to my mum).
We shared our love of dogs. We did have cats but I became allergic to them so we could not have any more.
Now she has her TV and recorder, she has my Nintendo, she broke hers.
A few days ago I bought her an iPod so she can listen to her music.

Do you remember where and when it was taken?

With my love of aeroplanes they put me in the army for 2 years national service. RAOC Royal army ordinance corps. I managed to acquire the best job as a driver.
I drove loads of different vehicles, from motorcycles to land rovers, and TVCs (troop caring vehicles.)
Should there be National service now? Yes it would possibly give the young unemployed a skill, other than how to kill.
It would teach them discipline.
