Re: Yet another welcome policy from Corbyn's Labour Party

'Milking the system', yet another direct quote from the Tory propaganda machine. Try thinking for yourself and checking the evidence before regurgitating received wisdom from Murdoch etc.

Hi

Very good advice.

Equally as relevant to the left swallowing Corbyn's propaganda.

Hi

So we are now going to get deselection are we?

We are the Borg resistance is futile?

Back to real Socialist Principles, Workers Committees, allocated housing and jobs.

Want a car?

Get on the waiting list for a Lada.

Look with envy on the Party Members, big cars, big houses, first on the list for Hospital treatment.

Yep, that sounds better, not.

Good news for those with long term illnesses and disabilities, which are very difficult to fake.
They will no longer be made to go for re-assesments for sickness benefits. Breaking news this morning!

Yet such a shame common sense did not prevail sooner, a chronic lifetime illness that does not get better only worse should never have been a part of this dismal process.

Also stated that by 2020 they will be looking into pensions as pensioners have by and large had it easy during austerity.

I can hear the screams already.

benefit scrounger of this parish.

Hi

Yes I agree Nom, should have been done right from the start.

At least May has done something about it.

Pensions are unaffordable, nobody has paid in enough for the last 25 years to fund their State Pensions.

I can see the Triple Lock going and the introduction of National Insurance for OAPs, on the basis that OAPs cost the NHS most and should pay towards it,

Why should those on disability benefits be subject to annual checks? Too many claim it yet able to do some sort of work, thats why.Its the scivers that sit around in chairs moaning about something or other , if they can use a computer then they can work.

Re: Yet another welcome policy from Corbyn's Labour Party

Unfortunately to get a job you need someone to employ you. If you know of employers who are searching, in vain, for workers, you should tell someone, or advise them to advertise the fact. There are government and local offices that post job vacancies for those searching for work, where the unemployed have to go and sign on in order to get their benefits. If there are jobs available that they are able to do, they are required to apply or their benefits are stopped.

Perhaps you know someone who is unaware of this system. If that's the case, you would be doing them a favour to advise them of the fact.

This is for people with illness and disabilities that are not going to get better. The people who have been treated by doctors and consultants, possibly for years. Those types of people are often made more ill by the stress of repeated assessment.
As for them being able to use a computer, have you thought perhaps it's the only thing that stops them feeling so isolated and useless that they no longer see any purpose to life?
But then "Arbeit macht frei" as they say.

It's not for people with temporary illnesses.
