Art this is a 1950s scenario.
Standing at table ?
Powderng noses ?
Most men who wear caps nowadays have these ghastly baseball things welded to their heads I doubt they remove them even in bed.
And in this weather beanies are the usual hat of preference !
Neither lend themsleves to being doffed!

What happened to all that?
Could not agree more. In fact I was out shopping this afternoon and a man did just that , doffed hat to me. How ovely is that ? lovely I say . Also men helping you with your coat is another nice thing they do.

Replying to Ruthio from a post long ago.

I agree with her.

Sex on demand is a none starter.

We are are all older on here.

We must respect our ladies.

Five or six times a day is enough as our ladies get older.

Now time to hide.

Muddy, My husband always stood up when l returned to the table when we were out! I used to say he needn't but he was a gentleman and treated me like a lady.
Don't ask me how we ended up divorced!
Men doff their trilby hats or their peaked caps....l don't live on a sink estate...you know!
