Ohhh Tara, surely you would help a lost dog, maybe all it needed was a phone call to a worried owner. I'd be so grateful to anyone who took the time to call me and let me know my dog was safe and I'd rush to pick him up from them..

The least you can do is offer the poor animal a bowl of water in this heat! He might not have had a drink all day.

I can't imagine how I'd feel if that had been one of mine lost, and no one tried to help her find me again.

It never occurred to me to do so, I had a much more important task to do as soon as I got home. It was only a dog, not a human. If it had been a young child they would have had my full attention until its parent was found.
