I really don't believe we're supposed to change who we are or how we talk or write but its just a generalization about text writing these days being more prevalent. Some people do find some of it bothersome, like me.I 'talk' with ya, yeah, & I say fer instead of for, also 'wat' instead of pardon. Let's see....."I haven't gotten 'round to it yet" "that chocolate tastes boughten", etc etc. I just personally don't always write the way I speak. It doesn't mean I'm phony. Being human, I slip sometimes too (I do say too....I can't STAND "tew").
Well I had noticed a couple of old threads had been dredged up so thought I'd pick this one for myself but see it's deadsville now so my apologies, caio.
