Talk about rehashing the past! All the usual suspects were there.
And that's the point Bruce: it's very rarely discussion about Brexit any more.
Look at the preceding few posts.
Nothing there whatsoever relevant to the thread topic.

Then (as I said in my last post here) you've got certain people determinedly posting in every single Brexit-related thread there is - frequently off-topic, irrelevant and/or personal carp at that - just to have the last word.
That isn't either reasonable sensible and if anybody thinks it is, ask yourselves what you would be saying if this was happening in other parts of the forum?

No Bruce, it's quite obvious that this is rarely a place for real discussion about Brexit any more.
It's a gathering-place for the "usual suspects" as you put it that most frequently just want to deride those that disagree with their opinions and will misinform, distract, cheat and even lie to do so.

If you think this subforum should stay open just for that, fair enough.
But I gotta say that IMHO it's not exactly a sparkling advertisement for potential newbies to join the forum.

Yes, there are indeed page after page of lies in the Brexit subforum.
That's why I keep popping up in here; to point them all out.
There are so many from certain EUrophiles .......... who knows why when Brexit is done bar a few dots and crossed tees - and in fact it doesn't even affect some of them?

I tend to agree with you. Brexiters are much more prone to believe fake news than invent it. It takes creativity, which they don't posses.

Says the person who posts more fake news in this forum that any other single poster here and then forgets that this is exactly why I correct his posts so frequently.
At least it is an admission of trolling I suppose.

It's rubbish and trolling like that which leads to the conclusion that this subforum has indeed had it's day.

If you stopped posting them, you wouldn't need to bother pointing them out.

Thinking that the truth is important does not necessarily mean that one is a "EUrophile".
Telling blatantly-pro-EU porkies so frequently does imply EUrophilia though.

But thanks for bumping up my post count again.
What a shame it is that your replies aren't equally as effective.

Only your own posts count, so eliciting reactions is not effectively boosting. Your boasting however does the trick!

And yet another purely personal comment from a self-confessed hater of our country!

If ever proof were needed that this subforum has passed it's best this is it, being the final refuge of European EUrophile fanatics.

If your post count is that important to you, then it would be mean of me not to do my bit to help you with it.

And what effect do you suppose I am trying to achieve?
