Paul O'Grady used to drive me mad on his show when he said 'give it up' and 'let me hear ya!'
I agree with many of the suggestions, and would include
'can I get a coffee?'
'meet you first thing' (commonly used in Home and Away when arranging to meet the next day. I could never find that 'time' on my clock so am confused by it. I would shout out to the TV 'so when ARE you going to get there?)
'Stumbled upon' to describe how a person, usually a dog walker(!) finds a dead body. I always visualise them actually
stumblingupon them.
Overuse of the word 'essentially'. Hate it hate it hate it.
Using the word 'bemused'. I know it's probably correct but it just sounds wrong.
Definitely the upward inflection at the end of sentences.
'Your' instead of 'you are'
'His' instead of 'he's'
I read Facebook posts with growing irritation at times.
