Re: Remainers
A lot of years ago, an American Speaker came to address our Management, in London.
To my surprise he said that British people had a growing problem which needed to be dealt with.
He called it a Paradigm.
A Paradigm, he said, is a comfortable state of mind which he said was based on the premise "We've been doing what we do, for a very long time and see no need to change our ways now".
Since that time, we've seen many Businesses & Shops go to the wall often because they would not adapt to the ways of the incoming competition (Think - Amazon, etc).
I recall that he called it a "Remain as we are" stance.
See that word "Remain" right in there.
Luckily, those wishing to "Remain as we are" did not prevail, but it was close!
When you think of the business man, of today, they seem to be those who will take a bit of a risk.
Good Luck to them.
And Thanks!
