Another wonderful thread with some very nice pics; wild flowers, the colourful face of the natural world. Have always enjoyed a walk along a hedgerow or across the fields in the UK.
Now Ive got a whole new set to explore 'down under'.

Wild lettuce, I think but there are several yellow flowered weeds that are just alike.

Shirley, we have oodles of a similar plant to your wild lettuce.
We call it meadow hawkweed, but like you said, there are a number of plants that look like it.
That's a super close-up!
